Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks

October 7th, 2008 by bonskie

This book is a must-read!  You’ll cry in spite of yourself!

“When I sleep, I dream of you, and when I wake, I long to hold you in my arms.  I anything, our time apart has only made me more certain that I want to spend my nights by your side, and my days with your heart.”

- A letter from Dr Paul Flanner to Adrienne Willis

Let’s Stay Together…

May 5th, 2007 by bonskie

I, I’m so in love with you
Whatever you want to do
Is all right with me
‘Cause you make me feel so brand new
And I want to spend my life with you

Since, since we’ve been together
Loving you forever
Is what I need
Let me be the one you come running to
I’ll never be untrue

Let’s, let’s stay together
Lovin’ you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad

Whether times are good or bad, happy or sad

Why, why some people break up
Then turn around and make up
I just can’t see
You’d never do that to me (would you, baby)
Staying around you is all I see
(Here’s what I want us to do)

Let’s, we oughta stay together
Loving you whether, whether
Times are good or bad, happy or sad

Bonnie at 26…

April 28th, 2007 by bonskie

Today is 29 April 2007.  I turned 26 forty-nine days ago.  When I was a kid I used to close my eyes & try to picture myself at 26 & this is what I saw…A great job, pretty much in love with a responsible man, surrounded by wonderful family & friends, and so far, I gotta say that my life has turned out close to how I imagined it…Sad

though, less “Mr I Love”…

I can say that age 26 is a very depressing age…it’s when you feel lost & confused, more demands & more expectations.  It’s when you want to stop talking about LOVE…every man claims he loves somebody…It means nothing to me…I realized that the only thing that counts is what you do to the people you say you love…That’s what really matters…You begin to think less about what’s out there at night or where to party…You dream of giving your folks the happy

old age…& you believe that HE’s just out there…somewhere…

Having a crisis

?  I guess we all have that…but crisis; they come & go although sometimes they don’t really feel like they’re going anywhere…

We all have choices anyway…what’s yours???

It was outrageously fun, exciting & nostalgic - the road trip around Bohol & the feeling of tranquility you get at Bohol beach club, that is.

Collage2_1 Must see spots:

- The ever-famous chocolate hills

- The boat & the super cute tarsier of LOBOC

- The Sipatan hanging bridge

- Baclayon church

- Man-made Mahogany forest

Should you want to travel (especially this coming summer), Bohol is a very good place to go (PROMISE!!!!)…J

TO MY DEAR SINGLE FRIENDS: If you don’t find him, so what???

November 1st, 2006 by bonskie

…from the book HOW TO FIND YOUR ONE TRUE LOVE by Bo sanchez:

So what?

If I don’t find him, so what?

Too bad for him; he missed the greatest blessing of his life.

I’m living a full life, enjoying every minute, & I know it.

I’ve worked on “ME” so much,

I’ve come to like myself a lot.

I’m going places; I’m meeting new friends,

I’m expanding my territories; I’m gaining new skills…

& I’ve realized I don’t need a man to complete me.

I’m already complete.

I’ve learned the art of happiness.

It’s great to be alive.

Trust GOD & enjoy life J

Buy a copy of this book…a must-read!!!

bonnie’s horoscope today!

September 29th, 2006 by bonskie

There’s no way to change the past, so you need to settle in and be comfortable with it. What you did (or didn’t do) will fade as time progresses, which means it’s time to look ahead and leave all of the bad memories behind you. As you wait for the negative feelings to subside, your patience will get you through the rough parts — and the people who love you will offer great distractions. Get with your friends, and remind yourself about the bright future ahead.
